Sky to Sea Technologies — Aerial, Thermal and Subsea
Aerial • Thermal • Subsea
Capabilities

One provider. Three inspection environments.

Our platforms capture targeted visual and thermal data above ground, across elevated structures and below the waterline.

Aerial

High-resolution drone surveys for elevated and difficult-to-access assets.

  • Factory & warehouse roof surveys
  • Farm sheds, silos & tanks
  • Cranes & elevated structures
  • Storm-damage documentation
  • Solar arrays & rooftop plant

Thermal

Thermal imaging to identify and document abnormal temperature patterns for further investigation.

  • Solar PV thermal surveys
  • Roof thermal screening
  • Plant and asset heat anomalies
  • Heat-loss indicators
  • Repeat condition monitoring

Subsea

ROV-based visual surveys for underwater assets, reducing unnecessary diver exposure during initial assessment.

  • Vessel hulls & running gear
  • Jetties, piles & wharves
  • Moorings & marine structures
  • Tanks, intakes & outfalls
  • Underwater condition surveys
Industries & assets

Built for real-world inspection environments.

Sky to Sea Technologies supports maintenance, asset-management and condition-monitoring teams across industrial, rural and marine sites.

Industrial roofsSheeting, corrosion, gutters, penetrations, skylights and rooftop plant.
Farms & grain facilitiesSheds, silo roofs, walls, ladders, hatches, vents, tanks and storm damage.
Solar PVRGB and thermal imagery for condition screening and anomaly documentation.
Cranes & structuresClose-range imagery for elevated components and difficult-access areas.
Marine infrastructurePiles, wharves, jetties, seawalls and submerged structures.
VesselsROV visual surveys of hulls, propellers, rudders and underwater fittings.
Water assetsVisual surveys of accessible tanks, intakes, outfalls and submerged infrastructure.
Repeat monitoringScheduled capture to compare asset condition and deterioration over time.
How it works

Clear data. Clear reporting. Less guesswork.

1
Define the scopeWe confirm the asset, access, site constraints, safety requirements and required deliverables.
2
Plan & captureDrone, thermal or ROV platforms gather targeted imagery and video in accordance with the agreed scope.
3
Organise findingsRelevant observations are documented with photo references, locations and priority notes where applicable.
4
Support follow-upYour maintenance team or appropriately qualified specialist can focus further assessment where it is needed.
Deliverables

Inspection data your team can actually use.

Depending on scope, deliverables can be tailored to maintenance, asset-management or specialist review workflows.

High-resolution imageryClear RGB stills and video of areas that may be difficult to view safely or efficiently from the ground.
Thermal imageryThermal captures of abnormal heat patterns where a thermal survey forms part of the agreed scope.
Condition reportingOrganised photo references and observations to support maintenance planning and further specialist assessment.
Important: Sky to Sea Technologies provides remote visual and thermal data capture and condition observations. Unless expressly stated otherwise and undertaken by an appropriately qualified person, our reports are not engineering certifications, electrical diagnoses, structural certifications or substitutes for statutory inspections.
FAQ

Common questions.

Can you inspect a roof without anyone climbing onto it?

In many cases a drone can complete the initial visual survey without personnel accessing the roof. If an issue requires hands-on testing, repair or specialist assessment, suitable access may still be required.

What can thermal imaging show?

Thermal imaging can highlight abnormal temperature patterns that may warrant further investigation. Conditions such as weather, solar loading, wind, reflections and the asset itself can affect thermal results, so thermal imagery must be interpreted in context.

Do you replace qualified inspectors, engineers or electricians?

No. We provide remote visual and thermal data capture and condition observations. Where certification, engineering judgement, electrical diagnosis or a statutory inspection is required, the relevant appropriately qualified person should undertake that work.

Can you inspect multiple assets during one visit?

Yes. Where practical and permitted, a site visit can be scoped to include multiple assets such as roofs, silos, tanks, solar arrays or marine structures, which can make mobilisation more efficient.

Can inspections be repeated over time?

Yes. Repeat capture can help maintenance teams compare imagery over time and monitor visible deterioration or changes in asset condition.
